Took a walk along the South Embankment past that Tate Mod the other night, went in to see if any of me old work colleagues were about and discovered the new installation in the Unilever Series, which has included many a great installation including the huge Anish Kapoor sculpture and the like. Anywho, got so excited about the slide and decided i had to go down all 3 from the smallest first. The slides are free but they give away a certain amount of tickets in the morning. I pressured old friends still there to let me down them, and man oh man, FUN! So quick and winding. If your in London, go!
Its takes on a whole new meaning to interacting with the art.

...ok... gotta type this quickly - am in midst of contacting all friends currently in London or just in general bottom half of Britian area and directing them to "awesome mad slide thing - GO GO GO"
cheers for the heads up, sugar!
Have been keeping up with the UK Ukelele orchestra on you tube, we have our own little ukelele orchestra here in Welly, headed by the seminal Age Pryor, gonna get them in at Te Paps at some stage coz they are fab, you will have to pop in and see our new installation artwork sometime, called VOID, by Ralph Hotere and Bill Culbert, not nearly as interactive in an obvious way as the slides but interesting none the less, been keeping up with Tate Mod and tuning into their webcasts, wish I could get a job somewhere fab and cutting edge like that. You have inspired me, may have to start my own blog?!
Yeah why not! Funny my old flatmate just got a job at tate britain and he hates it, in all honesty its more office work than he once thought, but sometimes the grass is not always greener but the slides are fun.
let me know when you set up your bloggy blog then.
