Carsten Holler Slide - Tate Modern NOW

Took a walk along the South Embankment past that Tate Mod the other night, went in to see if any of me old work colleagues were about and discovered the new installation in the Unilever Series, which has included many a great installation including the huge Anish Kapoor sculpture and the like. Anywho, got so excited about the slide and decided i had to go down all 3 from the smallest first. The slides are free but they give away a certain amount of tickets in the morning. I pressured old friends still there to let me down them, and man oh man, FUN! So quick and winding.
If your in London, go!
Its takes on a whole new meaning to interacting with the art.

The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain ownage

For the benefit of Bel this is the Uke's in GB bigging it up, very fun. Do an excellent rendition of miss dy-na-mi-tee which can be found on a remix album by Tom Middleton titled Cosmosonica. Excellent!

banksy bonanza

stumbled across the pow ( pictures on walls ) christmas grotto on oxford street last week. got a few eelus prints which i have been wanting for a while and were sold out. people are mad for banksy at the mo which upsets me as i actually like his work, not just in it for a profit or investment but hey ho thems the breaks. check out the site, link at the bottom, graf art is number one at present so get on the band wagon and snaffle up some contemporary, edgy work that has been long awaited and so reminiscent of the warhol pop art days. fun!

Ria in the Uk

Ria after a long wait becomes loved in the UK like the rest of us that buzz around here and in doing that also lands a new job! Nice one. Who would have known that a little sticker in a pocket sized red book could be so stressful, bless her. And now that you are earning millions Ria i expect dinner before you bug off to Oz for xmas and sun!

This is the beginning. . . . . . .

On aimlessly scrolling through many a blog or two i decided they were somewhat entertaining and good way to catch up on what people were doing, or not doing, as the case may be. So here i am, what will follow in these posts is undetermined, unknown and no doubt unfounded, but hey ho, as a wise man once said " its all fun and games until someone loses an eye" I shall endeavor to keep it up to date with all that is spontaneous and of some interest in my little world.
